Has moved back to his natural position of safety for his final year at Houston... spent last season as a linebacker... missed most of spring with a nagging shoulder injury but should be at 100 percent in the fall... will battle for playing time at either safety spot... another prized jewel from the Class of 2001... versatile athlete who can play both safety positions... big-time hitter who always plays smart... flows to the ball well... also will see plenty of playing time on the special teams... 2004: Played in all 11 games last season primarily on special teams... recorded five tackles, including three versus Army and a tackle for loss against the Black Knights... picked up the first interception of his career against Army as well... 2003: Sat out to rehab an injured shoulder... 2002: Saw limited action three seasons ago... played primarily on special teams... did not record a tackle... 2001: Redshirted four seasons ago as a true freshman...
