Moved from quarterback to wide receiver/tight end during the 2004 spring... now will stay primarily as the Cougars tight end in 2005... listed as the starter at tight end as fall approaches... one of the more athletic players wearing a Cougar uniform... very mobile and a dangerous runner in the open field ... might see some action on the special teams ... 2004: Played in all 11 games last season including a start at tight end against East Carolina... finished the year with seven catches for 101 yards and one touchdown... also picked up eight tackles on special team... hauled in a 21-yard catch against No. 4 Miami for his first career reception... made his first career fumble recovery at Southern Miss on a kickoff... made a 35-yard touchdown catch against East Carolina, dragging a pair of Pirate defenders across the goal line for his first collegiate touchdown... also had an 11-yard catch versus UAB and a 15-yarder in season finale against Louisville... 2003: Played in six games as a backup quarterback ... came off the bench to complete his first passes of the season againt Memphis... completed all three of his pass attempts for 25 yards and hit Vincent Marshall on a 12-yard touchdown pass, the first TD strike of his career... burst off a 14-yard gain off the bench at Army... 2002: Played on special teams and one game as a backup quarterback... played in nine games... rushed once for minus three yards... 2001: Redshirted as a true freshman...
