Could be a future quarterback for the Cougars... listed as a backup to incumbent Kevin Kolb as fall camp approaches... will battle Blake Joseph for that key backup role... has a live arm and picked up the intricate UH offense quickly... also is extremely mobile and makes plays on the run... is working harder in the weight room to get stronger for Division I-A football... 2005: Redshirted as a true freshman... got feet wet that spring in first practices for Houston... graduated early from high school and enrolled at UH in spring of 2005...High School: A member of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Area Top 50 list at Alvarado High School... named the District 15-4A Offensive MVP as a senior... picked up First-Team, All-District honors as well.. as a junior was named First-Team, All-Distict and was All-County MVP.. threw for 2,168 yards with 19 TDs, while adding 441 yards and seven scores rushing.. played basketball, baseball and track...
