One of the top linemen on the Cougar squad and in Conference USA... listed as a starter at left guard heading into fall practice... also can play center if needed... has stepped up to become one of the Cougars[apos] best offensive linemen... moves quickly for a big man... is a devastating run blocker... could be an honors candidate.
2004: Started all 11 games at left guard... has now started 28 games in his UH career... helped the UH offense generate 389.7 yards and 20.9 points per game... was big part of UH topping 400 yards of total offense five times during the 2004 season, including a 500-yard effort against Southern Miss (518) and a 600-yard performance against Army (647)... against the Black Knights the Cougars a season-high 369 yards rushing... graded out over 90% in every game... 2003: Regular on the Cougar offensive front, appearing in 13 games with 12 starts... has seen most of his action at left guard... helped lead offense to 458.31 yards and 34.5 points per game... total offense was 12th nationally and point production was 16th... also helped generate 215.5 yards on the ground, which was the nation[apos]s 12th-best output... helped offensive unit top 500 yards of total offense six times and over 400 yards 10 of 13 games... offense topped 40 points seven times, including the final three games of the year... 2002: Named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team... talented young player who broke into the Cougar starting lineup toward the end of the season... started last five games at left guard after injury forced coaches to shuffle offensive front... had spent the first seven games as a backup offensive lineman and played significantly on special teams... graded out at 84 percent on the season... registered 53 pancake blocks, 50 knockdowns and 42 ESPN blocks during the season... allowed just one sack all season... 2001: Redshirted as a true freshman...
