Will challenge for the starting nod at one of the defensive end spots as fall approaches... should be at 100 percent from nagging wrist injury... talented defender who can stop the run and rush the passer with equal enthusiasm... quick feet and strong hands make for a lethal combination... 2004: Played in just five games last season due to games missed to ankle and wrist injuries... registered just three tackles... had one tackle in three different games... 2003: Appeared on the Cougar defensive front in all 13 games with a start against TCU... recorded three tackles for a loss with two of those coming as sacks... proved to be a menace in the East Carolina backfield all night in front of a nationally-televised audience on ESPN2... recorded five tackles, including four solo, with three tackles for 10 yards and a pair of sacks against the Pirates... added a quarterback hurry in the Cougars C-USA-opening win... 2002: Appeared in 10 games during the season as a valuable defensive lineman... was one of a handful of true freshmen who played for Houston last season... recorded five tackles and a tackle for a two-yard loss... made three tackles with two solo stops and one tackle for a loss against South Florida...
