Extremely talented athlete who made the switch to tight end last fall... will battle for playing time this fall with another senior, Blade Bassler... forceful run blocker whose height could allow him to be a top-notch pass receiver... could continue to see some action on the special teams... 2004: Played in all 11 games last season including a start in the season finale versus Louisville... did not record a reception but did have a kickoff return for nine yards against TCU... 2003: Made his first collegiate start as a left tackle at Army...appeared in nine games during season, mostly as a member of the Cougar special teams and as a key reserve... helped lead offense to 458.31 yards and 34.5 points per game... total offense was 12th nationally and point production was 16th... also helped generate 215.5 yards on the ground, which was the nation[apos]s 12th-best output... helped offensive unit top 500 yards of total offense six times and over 400 yards 10 of 13 games... offense topped 40 points seven times, including the final three games of the year... 2002: Played primarily as a backup... also saw time on special teams... graded out at 73 percent... 2001: Redshirted as a true freshman...
