Former walk-on who has worked his way into a significant role at cornerback... will battle for one of the two starting nods as fall camp approaches ... hard-nosed competitor who is one of the fastest players on the team... great cover guy who is not afraid to step up and stuff the run... is one of the better tacklers on the squad... 2004: Saw action in all 11 games a year ago... finished the year with 18 total tackles... also had two tackles for losses and one pass break up... recorded a season-high four stops versus Tulane... had three tackles against both Oklahoma and Louisville... had at least one stop in nine games... 2003: Saw playing time in 10 games and made 21 tackles including 14 solo stops.. recorded a career-best five tackles with three solo stops at nationally-ranked Michigan... also registered four unassisted tackles in key road win at Army... made his first career start against UAB during the Cougars[apos] bowl-clinching win... finished the game with four total tackles... racked up three tackles in the bowl game versus Hawai[apos]i... 2002: Was not a member of the Houston team and sat out the year due to NCAA transfer rules...
