2017-18 (Senior)
Indoor: Competed in just three meets before suffering a season-ending injury on the indoor slate…Set a personal-best in the long jump, when she leapt 19-7.0 (5.97m) to finish fourth at the Houston Invitational…On the track, Burks ran 7.67 in the 60-meter dash at the Leonard Hilton Invitational to set a personal-best.
Outdoor: Claimed the 2018 American Athletic Conference Championship in the triple jump after leaping 42-8.25 (13.01m), earning First Team All-Conference laurels in the process…Tabbed a second-place finish in the long jump on her senior day, leaping 19-4.75 (5.91m) at the Tom Tellez Invitational…Finished the outdoor slate with five top-5 finishes.
2016-17 (Junior)
Indoor: Won the 2017 American Athletic Conference Championship in the triple jump en route to setting a new school record at 12.99m (42-7.5) and earning First Team All-American Athletic Conference honors...Also placed fifth in the women's long jump with a personal-best mark of 5.89m (19-4) to score four points at the championship meet...Won the triple jump at the Houston Invitational after leaping 12.58m (41-3.25) on Jan. 28...Opened her jumping season with a victory in the triple at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational at a mark of 12.48m (40-11.5).
Outdoor: Set the school record in the outdoor triple jump with a mark of 13.53m (44-4.75) to win the competition at the Mt. SAC Relays on April 15...Finished fifth at the American Athletic Conference Championships in a the long jump with a wind-aided mark of 6.04m (19-9.75) while also setting a new PR on a wind-legal jump of 6.00m (19-8.25)...Earned American Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week honors in back-to-back weeks on April 11 and 18...Won four consecutive triple jump competitions ranging from Feb. 25 through April 15.
2015-16 (Sophomore)
Indoor: Competed in five indoor meets participating in the long jump and the triple jump in each...Finished seventh and eighth respecitvel;y in the triple jump (12.09m) and long jump (personal best, 5.77m) at The American Indoor Championships...Finished fourth in the long jump at the Charlie Thomas Invitational when she jumped 5.67m (18'7.25")...Took fourth at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitaional with a 5.60m (18'4.5) in her first long jump of the season.
Outdoor: Set a new personal best in the triple jump with a leap of 12.32m at the Victor Lopez Classic...Opened the outdoor slate with a first place finish and a wind-aided 12.26m (40'2.75) in the triple jump, while also competing as a member of the 4x100m relay team that finished first in 45.13.
2014-15 (Freshman)
Indoor: Has jumped in seven meets for Houston in the indoor season...Matched her personal record with an eight place jump at The American Championships in the triple jump...Jumped 12.12m (39-9.25) in the triple jump to finish second at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational...Placed third in the long jump (5.63m) in her collegiate debut at the Houston Indoor Opener on Jan. 9.
Outdoor: NCAA Regional Qualifier in the triple jump after setting a mark of 12.12m at the American Athletic Conference Championships where she finished seventh...Set an outdoor personal best in the long jump with a leap of 5.55m at the Penn Relays...Competed in six outdoor meets for Houston.
