Two year letterwinner for Head Coach Al Senteno and the Tarpons of Port Isabel High School...Was the district Bronze Medalist and an area qualifier during his junior season...Claimed gold in the district and was a regional runner up and state finalist in the shot put during his senior season...Finished his high school career ranked in the top-10 in the state of Texas among 4A shot put throwers.

Son of Ivonne Hinjosa-Fuentes and Joseph Torres...Enjoys fishing, football, reading and weightlifting in his free time...Aspires to change the world in ways that will benefit everybody...Majoring in Electrical Engineering...Also played football in high school and was a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council.
