
Twelve Cougars Named USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes

Both men’s and women’s program earn All-Academic Team award
NEW ORLEANS – Twelve University of Houston Track & Field student-athletes earned All-Academic individual honors, and both the men's and women's programs received All-Academic Team awards, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Monday.
For the third consecutive year, the women's program earned All-Academic Team honors after posting a 3.29 GPA. The men's team received the honor for the first time since 2021 with a 3.02 GPA.
Junior Zaeda Houff, freshman Taylor Jackson, junior Ali Mack and freshman Evina Panagiotou earned All-Academic honors on the women's side.
On the men's side, senior John Adesola, sophomore Cayden Broadnax, freshman Damarien Jacobs, senior Grant Levesque, freshman Owen Levesque, senior Ryan Mulholland, freshman Sahfi Reed and junior Anthony Trucks received the recognition.

ABOUT THE AWARD
To earn individual All-Academic status, student-athletes must own a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher along with meeting a standard of athletic achievement in one of two ways:

ABOUT THE AWARD
To earn individual All-Academic status, student-athletes must own a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher along with meeting a standard of athletic achievement in one of two ways:
- Indoor: Student-athletes must have finished the season ranked in the top 96 in any championship individual event or the top 48 in any championship relay event, certifiable by their place on final season performance lists on TFRRS.
- Outdoor: Student-athletes must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships (the Preliminary Championship Competition and/or the Final Championship Competition) or must have finished the season ranked in the top 48, certifiable by their place on final season performance lists on TFRRS.
