2017-18 (Junior)
Indoor: Set a personal best in the indoor triple jump with a top lead of 14.59m (49-0.25) in a second place finish at the Charlie Thomas Invitational on Feb. 3...Won the long jump in front of the home fans with a mark of 7.36m (24-1.75) at the Leonard Hilton Invitational...Opened his season with a runner-up finish at the Reveille Invitational at 7.00m (22-11.75).
Outdoor: Earned the gold medal in the long jump at the 2018 Canadian National Championships, while also winning his provincial championship prior to the meet…Finished his collegiate season with a wind-aided jump of 25-0.5 (7.63m) to place 13th at the NCAA West Prelims…Claimed gold at The American Outdoor Championships and earned First Team all-conference honors with a long jump of 26-8.5 (8.14m), the third longest jump in program history…Earned Third Team All-American Athletic Conference honors with his bronze finish in the triple jump (50-7.5; 15.26m) at the championships meet…Also ran the 400-meter hurdles in Cincinnati, finishing ninth in a personal-best 53.81…Finished with seven top-3 finishes in the long jump including victories at The American Championships, the Houston Alumni Invitational and the Cougar Spring Break Invitational.

Indoor: Claimed silver in the long jump at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships en route to earning Second Team All-Conference honors with a personal-best mark of 7.64m (25-0.75)...Opened his career with a sixth place finish at the Charlie Thomas Invitational with a long-jump mark of 7.24m (23-9).
Outdoor: Competing for the first time ever in the men's triple jump, Kerr leapt 15.77m (51-9, 2.2w) and won the 2017 American Athletic Conference championship in the event...Finished 18th at the NCAA West Regional with a mark of 15.61m (51-2.75) in the triple jump.
AT MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE
FRESHMAN (2015-16)
Set the school record in the long jump at 7.76 meters at the Nelson Townsend Invite, winning the event in the process ... took 2nd in the LJ at the MEAC Championships with a distance of 7.57 meters ... had three other victories over the winter ... registered a 3rd place finish in the triple jump at 14.62 meters ... earned a pair of top five finishes in the 200 meter dash, topping out at 22.43 seconds at the Navy Invite.

Full name is Jared Jeremiah Nathaniel Kerr....born on June 25, 1995....son of Bryan and Beulah Kerr...has four sisters and two brothers...business administration major at UMES...earned academic honors for three years at St. Edmund Campion C.S.S. while graduating with a business concentration ...was also the male track MVP and Athlete of the Year in 12th grade...pre-game routine includes praying and tuning out the world with music using his headphones...best athletic moment was qualifying for World Junior Championships...lists his family as his biggest influence and claims to be very family orientated...hopes to become a marketing advisor and branch out with entrepreneurial ventures...favorite sayings are "If you're going to do something do it right"and"It's easier to do the hard work first"...hobbies include dancing, poetry and "making beats"...favorite movie is Forrest Gump...hope to break multiple school records, win a ring and make the NCAA championships...wants the world to know that he's Canadian and proud!
