INDOOR
Opened the season with a second-place in the 200m at the Leonard Hilton Invitational... finished first-place in the 200m at the Red Raider Invitational...helped the Cougars to a first-place finish in the 4x400-meter relay at the Charlie Thomas Invitational... advanced to a pair of finals at The American Championships, finishing sixth in the 60m and seventh in the 200m.
JUNIOR (2018-19)
INDOOR
Finished ninth in the 60-meter dash at the Reveille Invitational with a time of 7.76 ... Won gold in the 60-meter dash at the Texas Tech Corky Classic with a time of 7.41 ... Took third in the 60-meter dash at the Red Raider Invitational with a time of 7.43 ... Finished sixth in the 60-meter dash at the Charlie Thomas Invitational with a time of 7.46 ... Took silver in the 200-meter dash at the Houston Invitational with a time of 24.20 ... ran a collegiate best 54.29 in the 400m at the Texas A&M Aggie Twilight for first-place... Took silver in the 60-meter dash at The American Indoor Championships with a collegiate best time of 7.30 ... Won gold in the 200-meter dash at the Championship with a time of 23.12 ... Won gold at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships in the 60-meter dash, when she crossed the line in 7.31, which ranks as the second-fastest time in program history…Also earned silver and bronze medals in the 200-meter dash and 4x400-meter relay respectively, earning First, Second and Third Team All-American Athletic Conference honors for each finish…Set personal bests of 7.31 in the 100m and 23.47 in the 200m at The American Championships…Posted seven top-5 finishes throughout the indoor season including three individual wins.
OUTDOOR
Earned NCAA Second Team All-America honors after a pair of 16th-place finish in the 100-meter dash (11.32) and 200-meter dash (23.05), respectively at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore…Earned American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championship Track Performance of the Meet honors after winning gold medals in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, as well as the 4x100-meter relay…Set personal bests in the 100m (11.20) and 200m (22.74) at the Championship meet and earned First Team All-American Athletic Conference honors for each of the three races…Finished third in the 400-meter dash at Rice’s Victor Lopez Classic, setting a personal-best of 55.15 in the event…Tallied four victories and six top-5 finishes throughout her sophomore outdoor season.
FRESHMAN (2016-17)
INDOOR
Helped the Cougars' 4x400-meter relay squad claim the silver medal in 3:40.56 at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships and earned Second Team All-American Athletic Conference honors for the effort...Was a member of the Cougar 4x400-meter relay quad that won the Houston Invitational in 3:47.88.
OUTDOOR
Qualified for the Bahamas National Championships in the 100- and 200-meter dashes while also leading the Bahamas to a sixth place finish at the IAAF World Relay Championships in the 4x100-meter relay, helping to book their trip to the IAAF World Championships...Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary round where she finished 16th in the 100-meter dash in 11.42...Claimed two silver medals at the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships in the 100- and 200-meter dashes with times of 11.40 (PB), 23.12 and 3:48.66 respectively...Earned Second Team All-American Athletic Conference honors for each of the 100 and 200...Set a personal-best in the 200-meter dash at the Tom Tellez Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL
Competed four years for the Stingers of Sunland Baptist Academy…Was a six-time gold medalist in her High School Nationals, winning in the 100- and 200-meter dashes from 2013-16…Was a member of the Bahamian World Junior and World Youth teams…Participated in the world relays…Medaled at the CARIFTA Games each year from 2013-16.

Daughter of Claudette and Brian Bethel…Twin sister Brittni is also a member of the Houston Track & Field team…loves running in her free time…Majoring in Biology and aspires to be a Clinical Geneticist.
