Indoor: Threw the weight in five meets during the indoor season...Made his indoor debut and set a personal best in the weight throw with a mark of 16.45m (53-11.75) in a fifth place finish at the Leonard Hilton Invitational.
Outdoor: Competed in two meets during the outdoor season, throwing the hammer in each…Set a personal-best of 161-1 (49.11m) at the season-opening Cougar Spring Break Invitational.

Indoor: Did not compete during the indoor season.
Outdoor: Competed in six meets during his rookie campaign, throwing the hammer in each...Set his personal-best mark at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight Invitational with a throw of 48.48m (159-1) to place 11th.

Competed for coach Lerry Howl of the Diamondbacks at Pioneer High School...Threw 119 feet in his first meet ever. Also a member of his high school's playoff qualifying basketball team
