Women's basketball travels to Tampa for Wednesday matchup
HOUSTON – The women's basketball team travels to South Florida for its regular season finale on Wednesday night at 6 p.m. CT.

SCOUTING THE BULLS. South Florida is currently seeded as the second team in the conference trailing only UCF. The Bulls have dominated this season with a 21-7 overall record and a 11-3 conference mark. USF recentlay beat ECU with losses this season only to top team UCF as well as one loss to the third team in the conference Tulane.
100 WINS. Head coach Ronald Hughey tallied his 100th career win in Houston's 67-55 victory over East Carolina on Wednesday night in the Fertitta Center. The win comes in Hughey's eighth season with the Cougars. As a head coach, the South Carolina native has recorded a 100-135 overall record.
STEALING THE SHOW. Tatyana Hill recorded a career-high seven steals against UCF. Her previously record was five which she tallied this season against New Mexico.
MIXING IT UP. Despite only losing one starter from last season, the Cougars have recorded 12 different starting lineups throughout the season. Faced with injury, Houston has had to rely heavily on its depth. Britney Onyeje was the only player to have started all the games this season before missing the game against Memphis with an injury.
Double DOUBLE-DOUBLE. Against SMU both Taytana Hill and Bria Patterson recorded double-doubles. It was Hill's second double-double of the season and Patterson's first. Patterson tallied 12 points with 11 rebounds while Hill contributed 11 points and 11 boards.
CLOSING OUT THE SEASON. The game against USF will be the Cougars final game of the regular season before they travel to Fort Worth for the Conference Championships. Houston awaits the final games of the season to learn its seading for the game.
AGAINST SMU. Houston has won five of its last seven contests including two straight games. Eryka Sidney added 10 points in her senior sendoff. Tiara Young totaled 13 points and Bria Patterson brought in seven rebounds.
