Cougars set for penultimate game inside H&PE Arena
HOUSTON – The Houston Cougar Women's Basketball team is set for its penultimate game as the home team inside H&PE Arena, when they welcome Boston College for a 1 p.m., tipoff on Sunday.
Sunday's game will serve as Houston's Thanksgiving With The Coogs game. All fans that bring three or more canned food items to donate will receive FREE admission into Sunday's game.
Fans can hear the contest against Boston College live via the home for Women's Basketball Radio, UHCougars.com/wbbradio. A live stream of Sunday's game will also be available courtesy of Houston All-Access and can be found by clicking HERE. A subscription is required for Houston All-Access. Live statistics are also available through SideArm Stats, and the official Twitter account of Houston Women's Basketball, @UHCougarWBB, will offer updates throughout the game.

Series vs. Boston College – Houston and Boston College have met just three times in their histories, while Boston College has claimed all three matchups. The Eagles won the 2017 matchup 79-74 on Nov. 22.
American Honor – Sophomore forward Alyssa Okoene was honored as The American Athletic Conference Player of the Week after averaging 16.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in the season's opening week.
That's Ours – Houston set a school record with 41 turnovers forced in the win over Georgia Tech and now leads the American Athletic Conference with 26.67 turnovers forced per game and 47 steals.
From Deep – Houston has been lighting it up from deep in the first two weeks of the season. The Cougars lead The American in 3-pointers made, 3-pointers attempted and 3-pointers made per game.
High Scoring – Sunday's contest will feature two of the top scoring teams in the NCAA this season. Houston ranks 23rd at 85.2 points per game, while BC scores 88.7 to sit 16th nationally.
SERIES vs. BOSTON COLLEGE
Houston and Boston College will meet for the fourth time in history, and the Eagles hold the advantage 3-0.
Boston College won the most recent matchup, a 79-74 decision, in Chestnut Hill a season ago.
Sunday's matchup will be the first in Houston among the two teams.
ABOUT THE COUGARS
Houston enters the game with a 2-2 record after defeating Incarnate Word 79-60 on Friday in San Antonio.
Houston has four players averaging double figures in scoring this season, including junior guard Jasmyne Harris, who paces the team at 22.5 points per game and has three-consecutive 20-point games. Alyssa Okoene ranks second with 12.0 points per night, while Angela Harris scores 11.7 per game and Serithia Hawkins adds 10.8.

Boston College has three separate players who are averaging 14.7 points per game this season. Emma Guy, Makayla Dickens and Marnelle Garraud each lead the squad through the first two weeks of the season.
