Indoor: Competed in four meets for Houston during the indoor season...Set an indoor personal best in the shot put with a mark of 17.58m (57-8.25) to win the Houston Invitational on Jan. 28...Launched the weight 14.26m (46-9.5) at the Howie Ryan Invitational to set a personal best.
Outdoor: Threw the shot put in six meets during the outdoor season, while throwing the hammer in the outdoor opener...Set a personal best en route to winning his division at the Penn Relays with a mark of 18.03m (59-2)...Finished sixth at the American Athletic Conference Championships, picking up three points with a mark of 17.22m (56-6).

Indoor: Competed in three meets during the indoor season, throwing the shot put and weight in each meet...Threw 16.64m (54'7.25") in the shot put to finish fifth at The American Indoor Championships...Had a personal best throw of 14.00m (45'11.25") to finish sixth in the weight throw at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational.
Outdoor: Launched a throw of 17.81m in the shot put at the Baylor Invitational to set a new best...Threw the discus 39.98m at the Victor Lopez Classic on March 26...Opened the season with a third place finish in the shot put while throwing 17.51m (57'5.5") at the UTSA Invitational
