Houston and Texas Tech meet at 1 p.m., inside Fertitta Center
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Women's Basketball program begins a two-game homestand at 1 p.m., Wednesday against Texas Tech in Fertitta Center for Student Organization Day.
University of Houston student organizations are invited come out and participate in the student org challenge to win a prize for their organization.
FAN INFORMATION
Due to the inclement weather forecast, event staffing, concessions and premium space offerings inside Fertitta Center may be limited.
There are no changes to ticketing procedures or entry. Ticket holders to the Women's Basketball contest vs. Texas Tech will receive complimentary access to the Men's Basketball game vs. Utah at 5 p.m., Fans are encouraged to arrive early, exercise caution and prioritize safety when making travel arrangements.
Men's basketball season ticket holders who attend the women's game vs. Texas Tech can present their parking pass (blue, tan, orange) to park in the Stadium Garage.
The Houston Athletics Ticket Office location at the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium will be closed Wednesday. Fans can visit with ticket office representatives in person beginning at noon in the Fertitta Center's Holman Street ticket office window. The Holman Street ticket window and Cullen Blvd. ticket window will each be open at 3 p.m. ahead of the Men's Basketball game.

THE GAME
- Houston and Texas Tech face each other for the 58th time in program history and the second time this season on Wednesday.
- Texas Tech leads the all-time series, 43-14.
- The Lady Raiders defeated the Cougars, 74-59 for their first Big 12 win of the season in Lubbock, Texas.
- Houston looks to pick up its first Big 12 series win against Texas Tech.
- The Lady Raiders and Cougars have met a total of four times since Houston joined the Big 12 on July 1, 2023, with Texas Tech winning all four meetings.
- Houston's most recent victory against Texas Tech was an 85-79 decision inside HP&E Arena (Dec. 3, 2017).
- With three Cougars in double figures, Houston was unable to stop rv/#24 Baylor in a 70-51 decision inside Foster Pavilion on Friday.

- Blair (225) has her eyes set on Houston's all-time 3-pointers made record of 226.
- On Jan. 11, Blair moved up to third on Houston's all-time scoring list. She has 1,788 points and is 170 points away from moving up to second and surpassing Sharion Higgins with 1,957 points.
- Houston welcomes five transfers this season including Leilani Augmon (Troy), Summer Bostock (Maryland), Ashley Chevalier (Texas Tech), Eylia Love (Louisville) and Kateri Poole (LSU).
- Avalon Miller (Achilles), Maliyah Johnson (ACL) and Kateri Poole (ACL) are out for the season leaving Houston with nine available players.
- Assistant Coach Chynna Grimes returned to the coaching sidelines on Jan. 1 after giving birth to her daughter, Capri, on Nov. 4.
