Soccer Concludes Big 12 Road Action at #21 TCU

FORT WORTH, Texas. – The University of Houston Soccer program is set to face a ranked opponent for the first time this season as it takes on #21 TCU at 7 p.m., Thursday at Garvey-Rosenthal Stadium.

The game will be streamed on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ with Chris Blake and Chuck LaMendola calling the action. Live stats will be available here.

ABOUT THE COUGARS

Houston is in its second season under Head Coach Jaime Frias.
The Cougars are 8-6-1 on the season and 2-5 in conference play.
Behind goals from freshmen Aryanna Jimison and Kyrsten Kizer, Houston earned its first road Big 12 Conference win on Sunday after defeating Kansas, 2-0, in Lawrence, Kan.
Sophomore forward Cameryn Maddox leads Houston with seven goals.
Midfielders Caitlyn Matthews and Juliet Moore lead the team with five assists each.

SCOUTING #21 TCU

TCU is in its 12^th season under Head Coach Eric Bell.
The Frogs are 9-4-2 on the season and 5-1-1 in conference play.
TCU is ranked #21 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.
Midfielder Gracie Brian and forward Seven Castain lead TCU in scoring with six goals each.
Forward Camryn Lancaster leads the team with four assists.
TCU dropped its first Big 12 Conference match this season on Sunday against #6 Texas Tech, 1-0.
The Horned Frogs reached the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2023.

HISTORY WITH THE FROGS

TCU leads the all-time series, 9-2-1.
In the last meeting against TCU, the Frogs picked up a 3-1 victory at Garvey-Rosenthal (Oct. 3, 2021) with goals from Brian (2) and Lancaster. Zionah Browne scored the lone goal for the Cougars, assisted by Matthews.

UP NEXT
The Cougars return to the Carl Lewis International Complex for their Go Pink for the Cure game against Texas at 2 p.m., Sunday, and will close out the regular season against Baylor at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 23, for Halloween at the Pitch.

A minimum $10 donation to Susan G. Komen will grant fans a complimentary ticket for the game against Texas on Sunday. To claim a ticket, please present donation confirmation at the box office or the main entrance at the Carl Lewis International Complex on the day of the match.

TICKETS
Current University of Houston students may claim one ticket at no cost to all home soccer matches. Students can claim their tickets by presenting their valid UH student IDs at the gate.

Single-game tickets are now available to purchase for $10 per match. Season tickets are also available to purchase for only $42 with family plans (four season tickets) starting at $100.

Mobile tickets can also be purchased at game time at the ticket booth located at Schroeder Park (baseball), adjacent to the Carl Lewis International Complex.
