
Houston Heads to Tulsa for Final Road Test

Cougars will conclude regular season in Oklahoma
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Women's Basketball team will face Tulsa in its regular season finale on Monday night at the Reynold Center. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
GAME NOTES
• Houston enters Monday's game with a 12-17 overall record this season, including a 5-10 mark in conference play.
• Houston has four players averaging double-digits this season led by Dymond Gladney with 11.4 points per game, followed by Tatyana Hill with 11.0 points per game. Dorian Branch contributes 10.4 points per contest, followed by Julia Blackshell-Fair with 10.0.
• Houston is averaging 61.6 points per game on 38.3 percent shooting from the field and a 26.8 percent mark from beyond the 3-point line. The Cougars allow 67.8 points per game on defense while letting opponents shoot 42.1 percent and 31.4 percent from the field and beyond the arc, respectively.
• Hill leads Houston on the glass, pulling down 6.5 rebounds per contest.
• Houston is a force to be reckoned with on the boards this season, averaging 37.4 rebounds per game including over 15 offensive boards per game.
• Houston forces 18.5 turnovers per game, with 15 or more forced turnovers in 26 of its 29 games this season. Under Coach Hughey, Houston has been one of the most active defensive teams in the country over the past two seasons. The Cougars are experts at protecting the rim, entering the game ranked 66th nationally in blocks (111) and 79th in Blocks Per Game (4.0).

• The Golden Hurricane enters its 9th season under Head Coach Matilda Mossman and are led in scoring by Kendrian Elliot who is averaging 12.9 points per game. Elliot also leads the Golden Hurricane on the boards with 8.5 rebounds per game, as Alexis Gaulden leads the squad with 83 assists this season.
