Cougars fall to Bulls in 3-1 decision
HOUSTON - The Cougars opened up conference play Thursday evening at the Carl Lewis Complex, falling to USF in a 3-1 decision.
QUOTES FROM COACH
"Mixed emotions tonight, this is about as happy as I'll ever be with a losing result and the reason for that is that we came out like a different team in the second half. I don't know if we were intimidated, I don't know if we were nervous, I don't know what it was. We gave up some soft goals and granted USF is a very good team and they played that around us. But, we decided to come out of the locker room and play with some pressure and some heart and with nothing to lose, we went for it. That was the hardest we've played all year. That's why I say I'm never happy after a loss, but I'm proud of our team in the second half." said Head Coach Diego Bocanegra.
