Houston to Host USF, UCF in Conference Opener

Cougars open conference play at home this weekend
HOUSTON – The Cougars will kick off conference play this weekend at the Carl Lewis Complex when they host USF on Oct. 3, before taking on UCF on Oct. 6.
SCOUTING THE BULLS
- USF is entering its 13th season under Head Coach Denise Brown
- The Bulls closed out their 2018 slate with a 15-4-0 overall record, including a 8-1–0 finish in American Athletic Conference play.
- USF returns 10 members of the 2018-19 team and welcomes 13 newcomers this season.
SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS
- UCF is entering its sixth season under Head Coach Tiffany Roberts-Sahaydak.
- The Knights finished out their 2018 season with a 10-7-1 overall record, including a 6-3-0 finish in American Athletic Conference play.
- UCF returns 21 members of the 2018-19 squad and welcomes 10 newcomers this season.
UPCOMING PROMOTIONS
- Oct. 3 - AAC Pow6rful Minds Campaign
- The American Athletic Conference and Houston Athletics will take this match to raise awareness for mental health.
- Oct. 6 - Kids Day/Water Bottle Giveaway
- All fans 12 and under will receive free admission.
- First 100 fans will receive UH water bottles.
UP NEXT
Houston will hit the road when it takes on UConn on Oct. 10. The match is slated for 2 p.m.

For just $50, Cougar fans can begin purchasing season tickets, which allow season-long general admission entrance to all Houston Soccer home games. To purchase season tickets click HERE.
