LAHAINA, Maui – The University of Houston Men's Golf program wraps up its fall season this weekend when it tees off at the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic, beginning Friday.
The Cougars will compete on the 6,700-yard, par-71 Royal Ka'anapali Course at Ka'anapali Golf Club with 18 holes each day beginning at 1:30 p.m. (CT).

THE LINEUP
Senior Matt Williams, junior Logan Young, junior Zach Tracy and sophomores Alexander Frances and Andrew Gibson will represent this Cougars this weekend under the leadership of Director of Golf Jonathan Dismuke.
Williams and Young are tied for the team lead with a 73.44 scoring average through the first three tournaments. In the Cougars' most recent action, Williams led the team with a score of 22 to tie for 33rd at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate at Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas.
TEAM FIELD
The Cougars will compete against Air Force, Boise State, California, Clemson, George Washington, Georgia, Gonzaga, Kansas, North Florida, Oklahoma, Sacramento State, South Carolina, Southern Illinois, UCLA, UConn, Washington, West Virginia, Wyoming and host Hawai'i.
PAIRINGS
For Friday's First Round, Houston will compete in groups with student-athletes from California, West Virginia and George Washington.
Williams will begin the day for the Cougars in the first group off No. 10 with Young (No. 11), Frances (first group off No. 12), Tracy (second group off No. 12) and Gibson (No. 13 following).
UP NEXT
Following the Ka'anapali Collegiate Classic, Houston will take a break for the winter holiday before opening the spring season when it plays host to its own All-American Intercollegiate at Golf Club of Houston on Feb. 17-19, 2019.
