Mike Booker Head Coach Andrew Danna signs three transfers from Florida Gulf Coast
HOUSTON – Former Florida Gulf Coast stars Sebastian Gamboa Brett Moore and Sacha Ruiz have signed financial aid agreements and will join the University of Houston Men's Golf program for the 2026-27 season, Mike Booker Head Coach Andrew Danna announced Friday.
Gamboa will be a senior with one year of eligibility while Moore and Ruiz will compete as juniors in 2026-27 with two years of eligibility remaining each.
"Adding Sebastian, Sacha and Brett to our roster makes us significantly better as a team. Each of them brings something different to this program. But what excites me just as much is the talent already here. We have great players who can compete at the highest level, and now we're adding more pieces that fit right into what we're building," said Danna, whose hiring was announced earlier this week. "I'm excited about the depth and competitiveness we're going to have on this roster moving forward day in and day out at practice, especially qualifying, and certainly when it comes time to head out on the road and compete."
