Sophomore (2016-17): Competed in six meets during the season and four individual events...Swam three personal best at the Phill Hansel Invitational...50 Free 23.83 (Nov. 18)...100 Free 50.95 (Nov. 20)...200 Free 1:51.29 (Nov. 19).
Freshman (2015-16): Competed in three events at American Athletic Conference Championships...Set three personal best in 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free and 100 Fly at Phill Hansel Invitational...Notched two top-three finishes during dual season...Finished third at North Texas dual meet on Oct. 31 in the 100 Free, 53.84...Placed third at North Texas Relay on Oct. 2 in the 125 Free Relay, 50.87.
High School/Club: Lettered at Pinnacle HS in Phoenix, Ariz... Was a team captain... Was coached by Laura Spinn and Paige LaPort... Led the Pioneers to State Championships in 2012 and 2013 and a District Championship in 2014... Is a state record holder in the 4x100-yard freestyle relay... Also participated in soccer... Was a member of the Honor Roll and the National Honor Society, along with the Future Farmers of America and the Swim and Dive Society of Women Scholars... Swam with the Scottsdale Aquatic Club, where she was coached by Kevin Zacher….Daughter of Mark and Linda Gibson... Has one brother, Hayden... Plans to major in kinesiology with the goal of becoming a physical therapist after graduation... Volunteers at a variety of charities and organizations, including the Red Cross, several food banks and the Payson Humane Society.
