Junior Michelle McLeod Finishes First Day at NCAA Championships

McLeod finishes 36th in the 1-meter diving competition
ATLANTA, Ga. – University of Houston junior Michelle McLeod opened competition in the 1-meter at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships inside the McAuley Aquatic Center on Thursday.
McLeod competed in the 1-meter for the first time in her career at NCAA Championshions finishing 36th overall with a final score of 244.95.
UP NEXT
Senior Virag Peter (200-yard breaststroke), sophomore Alexia Duncan (100-yard backstroke) and freshman Maisy Woloszyn (3-meter) will join McLeod on Friday to compete in their respective events. Preliminary events are slated to begin at 9 a.m. CT and will be streamed on ESPN+.
McLeod will also compete in the platform event on Saturday with the event set to start at 9 a.m. CT.
