Patterson comes to Houston after spending four years as a graduate assistant at University of La Verne in La Verne, California. Patterson helped lead the Jaguars to a 9-6-3 finish in 2017, their best record in four seasons. Simultaneously, Patterson served on the coaching staff’s of the Rosary Academy’s Junior Varsity Team and the Fullerton Rangers Youth Soccer Club.
In her first season with the Cougars, Patterson helped coach a historically successful Houston offense. The 2021 squad averaged over two goals per game and saw six individuals notch four or more offensive points under her tutelage.
Throughout her collegiate career at Cal State Fullerton, Patterson was named Second Team All-Big West Conference and Fall Big West Academic All-Conference Team. The midfielder was a three-time team captain for the Titans and helped lead Cal State Fullerton to three consecutive Big West Conference Championships.
Professionally, the Anaheim, California native played for the LA Galaxy County Women’s Soccer Team where she helped lead the team to a United Women’s Soccer League Championship and a UWS West First-Team nod in 2019.
Patterson has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of La Verne.
