Indoor: Scored seven points for Houston at The American Indoor Championships after taking bronze in the 400-meter dash in 54.04 and finishing eighth in the 200-meter dash at 24.69, setting personal-bests in each of the events after running 24.18 in the prelims of the 200m…Earned Third Team All-American Athletic Conference honors for her bronze in the 400m…Won the 200-meter dash at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational in 25.29…Posted three top-5 individual finishes in four indoor meets.
Outdoor: Qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 400-meter hurdles, where she finished 24th in 1:00.92 to earn NCAA All-America Honorable Mention honors…Finished sixth in the 400-meter hurdles at the NCAA West Preliminary rounds in 58.25 to book her trip to Eugene, Ore…Won gold at The American Outdoor Championships in the 400-meter hurdles as well as the 4x400-meter relay…Her time of 57.56 in the hurdles at The American meet ranks her third in school history and earned her First Team All-American Athletic Conference laurels…Won events three separate occasions in 2018 including The American Championship meet and the Houston Alumni Invitational (1:00.13) in the 400H and the Tom Tellez Invitational in the 400-meter dash (56.26).
2016-17 (Freshman)
Indoor: Earned a bronze medal in the 400-meter dash after taking third at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships, earning Third Team All-American Athletic Conference laurels...Set a personal-best of 24.18 in the 200-meter dash at the American Championships with an eighth place finish...Opened her career with a win in the 200 at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational in 25.29.
Outdoor: Competed in eight meets for Houston during the outdoor season...Scored four points for the Cougars during the American Outdoor Championships while setting personal-bests in the 100- and 400-meter hurdles (13.92; 59.59, respectively) as well as the 400-meter dash (53.64)...Won the 400-meter dash at the J. Fred Duckett Twilight Invitational with a time of 54.07...Claimed gold at the Victor Lopez Classic on March 25 when she ran the 400-meters in 54.61.
