- Finished fifth in the discus at The American Championships.
- Qualified for hte NCAA West Preliminary Round in both the shot put and discus.
- Won the discus at the Cougar Spring Break meet with a personal best 55.64-meter throw.
- Won a total of 10 events in his junior season.

Freshman (2018-19)
Indoor: Took bronze in Shot Put at the Reveille Invitational with a distance of 56-2.5 (17.13) ... Finished fourth in shot put at the Red Raider Invitational with a throw of 55-7.75 (16.96m) ... Took silver in shot put at the Leonard Hilton Memorial with a throw of 55-2.25 (16.82m) ... Finished fifth in shot put at the Charlie Thomas Invitational with a throw of 55-2.75 (16.83m) ... Took silver in shot put at the Houston Invitational with a throw of 54-11.25 (16.74m) ... Finished seventh in shot put at the American Championships with a mark of 53-9.75 (16.40m)
Outdoor: Open outdoor season with a collegiate best in the discus throw at the Houston Spring Break Invitational 179-4 (54.67m)... finished second in the shot put at the American Outdoor Championships with a throw of 58-1 (17.70m)... advanced to the NCAA West Prelims and posted a lifetime best in the shot put at 58-2 (17.73m).
HIGH SCHOOL
Holds the Barbadian National Junior Record in the shot put and discus, while also holding high school records in each event...Earned bronze in the shot put and discus at the CARIFA games during his senior season.
PERSONAL
Son of Deanne and Anderson Blackman...Has one brother, Treyvon Blackman...enjoys playing soccer in his free time...Aspires to be an aeronautical engineer after his track & field career.
