Indoor: Competed in four meets during the indoor season…Set a personal-best in the mile at the Howie Ryan Invitational, when she crossed the line in 5:49.67…Picked up a top-10 finish in her season opener, running 11:4075 in the 3,000-meter run at the Leonard Hilton Invitational to place 10th.
Outdoor: Competed in seven outdoor meets in 2018…Set a personal-best in the 1,500-meter run after clocking a time of 5:22.42 at the LSU Invitational…Ran the 3,000-meters at the Texas Invitational in 11:22.74 to set a new PR and finish ninth…Completed the 5,000-meter run at the Victor Lopez Classic in 20:03.74 to set a lifetime best.

Indoor: Competed in two meets during the indoor season...Set a personal best of 11:05.93 in the 3,000-meter run to finish 18th at the Houston Invitational.
Outdoor: Did not compete for the Cougars during the outdoor season.

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a four-year letterwinner for Robert Sload and The Awty International School Rams...member of the cross country team that won back-to-back TAPPS 4A State Championships in 2012 and 2013...is the only person in the history of her high school to qualify for the cross country state championships ins all four years...earned All-State honors in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Full name is Nikita Mohini Prasad...daughter of Dharmesh and Soni Prasad...has one older sibling, Karishma (23)...aspires to be an orthopedic surgeon or an oncologist...member of the National Honor Society, French Honor Society, Choir, Chess club and India club in high school...speaks English, Hindi, French and can understand Spanish...enjoys playing the piano, reading (especially Harry Potter), biking, playing soccer and spikeball.
