JUNIOR (2014-15)
Posted a 16-11 overall singles record, with a 9-3 mark from the No. 4 spot and a 12-8 dual record... Went 4-3 against American Athletic Conference opponents... Played a crucial role as the Cougars set a program record with 18 straight victories and were awarded a bid to the NCAA Tournament... Earned her first spring win of the year against Megan Sheehan-Dizon of BYU (1/19), 6-1, 6-7 (6-8), 6-4... Scored the clinching point in a 4-3 win over No. 42 Washington (2/7), a 1-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory over Miki Kobayashi... FRESHMAN (2013)
Ranked second on the squad with a 14-8 record in singles play primarily at the No. 3 position in her first collegiate season at Houston... Won eight of first 10 matches of collegiate career, including season-opening victory over opponent from No. 59 Stephen F. Austin (1/15)... Posted a 6-1, 6-0 rout of Maria Voscekova from Marshall (4/18) in the opening round of the C-USA Championship... Also cruised to a straight-sets win against Mississippi State (2/23) and another against the NJCAA's 52nd-ranked player, Alejandra Enderica of No. 1 Tyler JC (1/25)... Posted a 7-10 record in doubles play, including six wins at the No. 1 position with partner Charlotte Phillips.
PRIOR TO HOUSTON
Earned a ranking of No. 44 in Spain's open division and No. 1204 in WTA's worldwide rankings... Originally from Galicia, Spain... Claimed the U16 regional championship before moving to Madrid in high school, where she went on to win the U18 regional doubles championship and advance to the semifinals of a U18 Spanish national singles and doubles event... Competed in over 30 professional tournaments, advancing to the doubles quarterfinals on three occasions.
