- Made season debut with a third-place finish in the men’s 6k at the UIW Twilight with a time of 18:13.8 (Aug. 30)
SOPHOMORE (2023)
- One of six Cougars to compete in all all five competitions
- Led the Cougars for the first time at the Texas A&M Invitational, pacing the Cougars to a second-place team result.
- Finished third overall at the Texas A&M Invitational – his second consecutive top five finish of the season.
- Was one of Houston top three finishers in all five meets.
- Finished fifth overall as Houston's third finisher at the Lamar Early Bird Opener – helping Houston secure its first meet win since 2019

- Crossed the finish line second for Houston at two of the three 8k races of the season
- Finished the final four races of the season as one of Houston's top three finishers
- Ran first-career 10k race at the NCAA South Central Region Championships
