- Chose UH because he really likes the coaches and he felt like it was the place for him and even with missing his senior year due to injury the coaches kept their faith in him. Houston is the best city on the planet.
- Most memorable athletic accomplishment: throwing a complete game in the state championship game as a sophomore to win the state title
