Cougars and Buffaloes meet for the first time Sunday
BOULDER, Colo. – For the first time this season, the University of Houston Soccer team will venture outside Texas for a matchup against Colorado at 2 p.m. CT, Sunday from Prentup Field.
It is the first meeting between Houston (6-0-1, 1-0-1 Big 12) and Colorado (7-1-2, 1-0-1 Big 12), featuring the two highest scoring offenses in the Big 12 Conference and the 6th and 7th highest scoring offenses in the country.
The match will be streamed on ESPN+ with Brad Thompson calling the action. Live stats for the match can be found here.
LAST TIME OUT
The Cougars continued their undefeated start to the season with a 1-1 draw against rv Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas on Thursday evening.
Reigning Big 12 Offensive Player and Freshman of the week Samira Minor scored Houston's goal in the 60th minute before a Texas Tech penalty kick was awarded in the 83rd minute. Macy Blackburn converted the equalizer as the two teams shared the result.
