#3/3 Houston (26-4 • 18-1 Big 12) looks to sweep the regular-season series against the Bears after taking a 76-65 win inside Fertitta Center on Feb. 10.
With 18 conference wins in 2024-25, the Cougars have set Big 12 and Houston single-season records. The Cougars' total tops the 2019-20 Kansas record of 17-1 for the league mark, and it bests the 2022-23 Houston team's 17-1 record as a member of the American Athletic Conference.
Houston enters this weekend's regular-season finale following a 65-59 win over Kansas on Senior Night inside Fertitta Center on Monday night. Graduate guard LJ Cryer totaled 22 points with four 3-pointers to lead the Cougars while junior guard Emanuel Sharp totaled 12 points with six rebounds, including five offensive boards.
That was the Cougars' 39th home win in their last 40 games inside Fertitta Center.
In addition to their success at home, the Cougar have been road warriors throughout the 2024-25 season. Houston brings its 13-game road winning streak into Saturday's game at Baylor. That is the nation's longest active streak and set a Big 12 Conference record.
This season, Cryer leads the Cougars with 15.0 points per game and a 42.0 3-point field goal percentage. The Katy, Texas, has drained multiple treys in all but six games this season.
Graduate forward J'Wan Roberts leads Houston with 6.3 rebounds per game and needs only five more rebounds to become the fourth Cougar in school history to grab 1,000 boards during his career. He would join legendary centers Elvin Hayes, Hakeem Olajuwon and Greg Anderson.
In addition to that milestone, Roberts would join Hayes, Olajuwon and Anderson as the only Cougars in program history record 1,000 points AND 1,000 rebounds during their award-winning careers.
Junior point guard Milos Uzan tops Houston with 4.5 assists per game and tops the Big 12 and stands seventh nationally with a 3.27 assist-turnover ratio this season.
