Cougars held to two hits in loss
HOUSTON – The Houston Baseball team dropped its Saturday night tilt against TCU, 12-0, at Don Sanders Field at Darryl and Lori Schroeder Park, evening the series and setting up a rubber match Sunday afternoon.
TCU (20-8, 4-4 Big 12) scored in the first inning for the second game on the weekend, scored three more in the second inning and let its starter Caedmon Parker settle in and limit Houston (15-11, 3-5 Big 12) to three hits.
Sophomore Tre Broussard and juniors Cade Climie and Carsten Sabathia III recorded hits for the Cougars.

The Cougars and Horned Frogs face off in Houston's fifth rubber match of the season on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Don Sanders Field at Darryl and Lori Schroeder Park. Houston is 4-0 in rubber matches this season.
