Fowlkes, Moore Earn Spot at Houston Dash Preseason Camp

Former Cougars are two of six to earn spots at preseason training camp
HOUSTON – University of Houston Soccer standouts Alexis Fowlkes and Juliet Moore were tabbed to the Houston Dash's preseason camp, the team announced Saturday.
Fowlkes and Moore were among the six players invited as non-roster invitees, including Kate Colvin (Texas A&M), Makhiya McDonald (Texas A&M), Mieke Schiemann (Penn State, Aidan McConnell (Wisconsin).

The Dash competes at the Coachella Valley Invitational later this month before opening its season on Friday, March 14 at Shell Energy Stadium against the Washington Spirit.

Fowlkes was a mainstay in the lineup for the Cougars, playing in every match with just two missed starts during her time in the scarlet and white. Beginning her career at Texas Tech, Fowlkes made 52 appearances across her career, scoring three goals and tallying a pair of assists, including the game-winner against Arizona (Oct. 13, 2024).

The Woodlands, Texas, native graduated in December with her bachelor's degree in Business Marketing and twice earned Academic All-Big 12 and College Sport Communicators Academic All-District honors.

Moore came to Houston in 2023 after a pair of seasons at Mississippi State. She played in 59 career matches and made 23 starts including 34 in H-Town. She led the team last season with five goals including a hat trick in a match against Texas State (Sept. 1, 2024). Moore tallied seven goals and dished out six assists across her four years.

The Dallas, Texas, native will graduate in May with her bachelor's degree is Health Promotions. Moore earned Academic All-Big 12 and College Sport Communicators Academic All-District honors the last two seasons.
