Bradley joins Cerebral Palsy Women’s National Team as Goalkeeper Coach
ATLANTA – University of Houston Soccer Assistant Coach Brooke Bradley was named the goalkeeper coach for the Cerebral Palsy Women's National Team, U.S. Soccer announced.
"It's very special to represent your country in any capacity possible," Head Coach Ben Williams said. "We are excited for this opportunity for Brooke to have a fantastic experience with the national team. We are always looking to expand the development of not only our players but also ourselves as a staff, and this is a fantastic opportunity to do that. We look forward to cheering for Brooke and the CPWNT this summer at the World Cup."
Bradley will join the CPWNT for their first camps at the ADAPTandTHRIVE Invitational in May at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayetteville, Ga. before taking part in the IFCPF Women's World Cup in the fall.
"I am incredibly honored and excited to step into this journey with the CPWNT," Bradley said. "I want to thank Chris Maravalli for opening this door and having me join him and to Ben for believing in my potential and encouraging me to pursue this opportunity. I'm also grateful to the University of Houston for their constant support throughout this process.
"This team represents dedication, resilience and heart. I look forward to making a meaningful impact not only on the field but also by supporting our athletes off the field.
"This is more than a role, it's a purpose. I can't wait to contribute, grow, and help elevate this incredible group of athletes as we head into the 2026 IFCPF Women's World Cup."
The Houston native joined the Cougars as an assistant coach ahead of the 2025 season and helped Houston to its first winning season since 2021 including an undefeated non-conference season for the first time in program history.
Under Bradley's direction, the Cougars allowed just one goal during non-conference action and 14 on the season, marking the lowest total ever allowed in the non-conference and the lowest total since 2010.
She coached goalkeeper Lexi Gonzalez to the program's first ever Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week honor. Gonzalez led the league with a 0.68 goals against average and helped the Cougars to seven clean sheets on the season.
Before Houston, Bradley made stops at Miami (Fla.), Florida Tech and Texas Women's. In her stop in Melbourne, Fla., she helped the Panthers to a 35-12-15 record in the Sunshine State Conference, winning three league titles as well as trips to the NCAA DII Elite Eight and Final Four.
As a player at North Texas, Bradley accumulated a 17-6-5 mark with 127 saves and 10 shutouts in two seasons as team captain. She helped the Mean Green to three Conference USA regular season and three conference tournament titles.
