Joseph Snags 35 Under 35 Honor

Running Backs coach tutoring another top rusher
HOUSTON – Houston Football running backs coach Jordy Joseph was named to the AFCA 35 Under 35 list in his second season on the Cougar staff. Joseph is one of four Big 12 Conference coaches on the 35 Under 25 list.
Joseph's running backs room has helped Houston rush for 175.7 yards per game with his running backs accounting for 1,352 yards of the Cougars' 2,108 total rushing yards.
The Cougars' lead running back, Dean Connors, has rushed for a team-high 851 yards, the most by a Houston back since 2021 while his five rushing touchdowns are second on the team and the most by a Cougar running back since 2021.
Joseph is in his second season with the Cougars after three seasons at Southern Miss from 2021-23. Joseph played quarterback for head coach Willie Fritz at Tulane.
