Two Cougars are headed to the Super Bowl
HOUSTON – A Houston Football legend will be collecting a Super Bowl ring this season. Marcus and Josh Jones both advanced to the big game with their respective teams, marking the first time two Cougars on active rosters faced off in the Super Bowl since Simon Fletcher (Denver Broncos) and Johnnie Jackson (San Francisco 49ers) met in 1990.

- Notched six tackles, tied for the second most on the Patriots, while also defending a pass
- Returned one punt for two yards
- Ranked as the third-best cornerback in both defense (69.9) and run defense (70.8) in the conference championship round
- Allowed just 3.2 yards per reception against his wide receiver matchup, the third-fewest in the week among cornerbacks
