Women’s Basketball Opens Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship Action on Thursday

(13) Houston and (12) Texas Tech meet in the First Round at 5:30 p.m.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of Houston Women's Basketball program will open its 2023-24 postseason when it competes in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship at 5:30 p.m., Thursday inside T-Mobile Center.
The Cougars (14-15, 5-13 Big 12) will compete as the No. 13 seed and will face (12) Texas Tech (16-14, 5-13 Big 12) in the First Round on Thursday. With a win over Texas Tech, Houston will compete in the Second Round against (5) Baylor at 11 a.m., Friday.
