Volleyball Announces 2024 Spring Schedule

Cougars play reigning national champion Texas as part of Spring slate
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Volleyball program announced its 2024 spring competition slate on Monday. The Cougars will play at least seven matches with the entire slate being on the road.
Houston opens its spring schedule on March 2 against 2023 National Champion Texas. After a 20-day break, the team continues its campaign at Rice on March 22. Exact locations and times for both matches are still to be determined.
The Cougars will then participate in the Fast Invitational, facing at least three opponents, at the Fast Complex in Houston on April 6. Opponents and times are still to be announced.
Houston closes its slate at the Dallas Power Invite on April 20 with matches against host SMU (1 p.m.) and Oklahoma (3 p.m.).
Head Coach David Rehr's squad is coming off of a 19-10 season in its inaugural Big 12 Conference campaign, finishing in fourth in the league with an 11-7 record. The Cougars fought their way to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, taking one-seed Stanford to five in the Round of 32.
