Soccer Begins Homestand Against Louisiana Tech

Cougars will take on the Bulldogs for the first time in program history
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Soccer program begins a stretch of three consecutive home matches as it welcomes Louisiana Tech to town for the first time in program history at 10:30 a.m., Sunday at the Carl Lewis International Complex.
Fans should note earlier start time from earlier published schedules. Sunday's match was moved up due to expected high temperatures in Houston.
The game will be streamed on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ with Jason Metko and Alex Parra calling the action. Live stats will be available here.
Fans can purchase tickets by clicking here, or mobile tickets can also be purchased at game time at the ticket booth located at Schroeder Park (baseball), adjacent to the Carl Lewis International Complex.
ABOUT THE COUGARS
The Cougars will remain at home as they face Houston Christian at 7 p.m., Thursday, for Pups at the Pitch. Fans in attendance with a dog will receive a half-priced ticket and a dog bowl while supplies last.
Houston then will close out its non-conference schedule as it hosts Texas State at 7 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 10, for Senior Night. The Cougars will honor their senior class prior to the start of the match.
TICKETS
Students will be able to claim one ticket at no cost to all home soccer matches. Students can claim their tickets by presenting their student IDs at the gate.
Single game tickets are now available to purchase for $10 per match. Season tickets are also available to purchase for only $42 with family plans (four season tickets) starting at $100.
Mobile tickets can also be purchased at game time at the ticket booth located at Schroeder Park (baseball), adjacent to the Carl Lewis International Complex.

- Houston is in its second season under Head Coach Jaime Frias.
- The Cougars are 4-0-1 on the season.
- In its last match, Houston defeated Rice, 2-1, at Holloway Field on Thursday with Cameryn Maddox scoring both goals for the Cougars.
- Maddox leads Houston in scoring with five goals.
- With a win against Louisiana Tech, the Cougars would equal the 2021 record for the best start in program history at 5-0-1.
- Louisiana Tech is in its third season under Head Coach Steve Voltz.
- The Bulldogs are 2-2-1 on the season.
- In its last match, Louisiana Tech fell 3-0 against Baylor on Thursday.
