Three Houston Volleyball Matches Added to ESPN’s Linear Schedule

Cougars announce schedule adjustments in conjunction with network matchups
HOUSTON – Three University of Houston Volleyball matches in the 2023 season will be nationally televised on ESPN's networks, including two on ESPNU and one on ESPN2, the Big 12 Conference announced on Monday.
The team tips off its inaugural Big 12 Conference schedule at 8 p.m. CT, Sept. 20, at BYU on ESPNU.
The worldwide leader in sports also opted to broadcast one of the Houston vs. Texas matches in October. Originally scheduled for Oct. 13, the Cougars will now play the Longhorns on ESPN2 at noon CT, Oct. 15. Houston opens the weekend at 1 p.m. Saturday against Texas.
The Cougars once again claim the national spotlight at noon CT, Oct. 29, facing off against the Cincinnati Bearcats on ESPNU. The match, originally scheduled for Oct. 28, was also shifted to accommodate the TV window.
In addition to the linear television offerings, all of Houston's home matches will be streamed via Big 12 Now on ESPN+. Houston's three matches are tied for the most picked up by ESPN's linear group of networks in the Big 12, joining Texas for the lead.
Houston starts its 2023 season in less than two weeks as it hosts USC at 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 25. Single-game tickets and season tickets are on sale and can be bought by calling the Houston Ticket Office at 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647) or by clicking here.
