Divers Conclude Action at NCAA Zone Championships

Cougars earn spot in platform final
MINNEAPOLIS – Chase Farris, Josie Graves and Emilia Waters concluded action for the University of Houston Swimming & Diving program at the 2023 NCAA Zone D Diving Championships held from University of Minnesota's Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center on Thursday.
Farris advanced to finals in the platform after posting a five-dive scoring total of 236.50 in preliminary action. In finals, the Mission Viejo, Calif., native finished in 12th-place with a total score of 462.30. Her best dive of the day came on her fourth attempt when she earned a score of 55.50 after completing a forward 3 ½ somersault pike from the 10-meter.
Graves wrapped up action in 24th-place with a score of 191.65, followed by Waters scoring 185.50 to take 25th-place.
