Seven-time conference champions take on new league, Big 12 rival Texas on Friday
AUSTIN, Texas - The University of Houston Swimming & Diving program will open its 2023-24 season at the Dust Off Your Boots Invitational against the 2023 NCAA Swimming & Diving National Runner-Up, Texas, at 3 p.m., Friday at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
"It's our first opportunity to see where we are in our training, to watch our freshmen and transfers compete and an opportunity to compete against our new Big 12 opponent," Head Coach Tanica Jamison said.
Â
"Our energy is at an all-time high and the sky is truly the limit for our program."
Â
NEW YEAR, NEW FACES
Evelyn Entrekin, Liya Goupil, Nora Hetyei, Tierney Howell, Elizabeth Jimenez, Isabella Lojewski, Michelle McLeod, Sydney Nethercutt, Danielle Titus and Megan Unruh are the 10 new additions to the Cougars.
