Soccer Continues Conference Action in Memphis

Cougars look to pick up second conference win against Tigers
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Houston Soccer program will head out for another American Athletic Conference road match to face Memphis at 7 p.m., Thursday, from the Billy J. Murphy Soccer/Track & Field Complex.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Jeff Brightwell calling the action. Live stats will also be available here.
HISTORY WITH THE TIGERS
· In the last meeting against Memphis, the Tigers claimed a 1-0 victory against the Cougars (Nov. 4, 2021) at Corbett Stadium in Tampa, Fla., in the American Conference Tournament Semifinals.
· In the last regular season matchup against Memphis, Houston claimed a 1-0 victory (Oct. 21, 2021) at the Carl Lewis International Complex with a goal from forward Nadia Kamassah in the 88th minute.
· The Tigers lead the series, 17-8-1.
ABOUT THE COUGARS
· Houston is in its first season under Head Coach Jaime Frias.
· The Cougars are 4-4-1 on the season.
· In its last match, Houston fell to East Carolina in a 1-0 decision on Thursday evening in Greenville, North Carolina.

After the conclusion of the match, select Houston Soccer student-athletes will be available for an autograph signing.

Students will now be able to claim two tickets at no cost to all home soccer matches. Students can claim their tickets by presenting their student IDs at the gate.
Fans can purchase single-game tickets by clicking here or by visiting the ticket office. Mobile tickets can also be purchased at game time at the ticket booth located at Schroeder Park (baseball), adjacent to the Carl Lewis International Complex.
