Houston Tennis Travels to Fort Worth for Tuesday Match

Cougars hit the road for three-match away stint
HOUSTON – Houston Tennis will travel to Fort Worth to face TCU at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center for a Tuesday match starting with doubles play at 2:30 p.m.

The Cougars are coming off a strong 5-2 home opening win against Louisiana Monroe last Friday. Houston showed a standout doubles performance followed by an impressive battle in singles.

In the fall, Houston competed in Fort Worth in the ITA Division I Women's Texas Regional Championship Tournament. Gabriela Giraldo showed a strong performance in the tournament winning the consolation prize in singles play after coming out on top against six different opponents.

Houston tennis is ready to begin a three-match road trip over the next two weeks before returning home for a double-header on Sunday Feb. 13 against Southern University and Prairie View A&M University.
Cougar Tennis fans will have the opportunity to catch Houston at home for free six more times throughout the spring.
UP NEXT
The Cougars will travel to the University of Colorado to take on the Buffs on Friday in Boulder at 1 p.m. The following Friday, Houston will travel to the University of Alabama for a 5 p.m. match in Tuscaloosa.
