Houston Soccer Begins Conference Play Thursday

Cougars face first conference opponent at home
HOUSTON – Houston Soccer (6-1-1) will be back at the Carl Lewis International Complex for a 7 p.m. match against conference rival UCF (4-2-0). This will be the start of the American Athletic Conference schedule for the Cougars.

Following a road win on Sunday at Jackson State, Houston looks to add its first conference opponent win to its record.Â
SERIES HISTORYÂ
In 16 matches of series history, the Cougars hold a 1-14-1 series record with the Knights with the first match of the series being played in 2005. The last time the two teams went head to head was in April of this year which resulted in a Houston 3-1 win in Orlando.Â

Houston will be at the Carl Lewis International Complex again on Sunday to face Sam Houston State at 7 p.m.
