Cougars look to rebound Sunday
SAN MARCOS, Texas – The University of Houston Softball team dropped its matinee to Texas State by a score of 8-0 on Saturday.
Houston moves to 7-6 on the year, while the Bobcats improve to 9-3. The Cougars' offense was held in check throughout the game, with junior Bethany Busch recording the only hit of the day for Houston.
KEY INNINGS
2nd | Texas State extended is lead to five, after crossing the plate four times to take a 5-0 advantage.
5th | The Bobcats strung together another multi-run inning, putting three runs on the scoreboard to seal the win.
