Houston Adds Cincinnati to Schedule

Cougars will travel to Bearcats for conference battle
HOUSTON – The Houston soccer team has announced an addition to its American Athletic Conference slate, head coach Diego Bocanegra and the conference announced today. Â
The game against Cincinnati will now be played at 11 a.m. CT on March 24 at Gettler Stadium in Cincinnati. Originally scheduled for February 28, the game was delayed due to COVID-19 issues within the Cougars program. Â
Dating back to 2002, the two conference opponents have met eight total times. Most recently the two teams met during the 2019 season when Houston asserted itself to a 3-0 win. The Cougars are unbeaten in the last four matchups against the Bearcats with a pair of victories to go alongside two draws. Â
Houston also announced the addition of a game against Rice set for March 11 earlier today. Â
